There are a lot of other hotels in Toronto, too, so there's plenty to choose from. You can always look on Airbnb if you're looking for a more apartment-y experience, and possibly cheaper stay. It can sort of go either way with Airbnbs. The venue is easy to get to on public transit, and it'll be easy to get a taxi/uber/lyft home if you're not on site.
